Keep the momentum from the holidays going [Video]

After Christmas, you may see a slowdown in sales, but that doesn’t mean it’s time to hibernate until the next big holiday. Here are three things you can do now to boost your post-holiday sales:

First, reach out to your holiday shoppers through social media. Many of these people may have visited your store for the first time over the holidays. Get connected, show your appreciation, and invite them back to your shop for your next big promotion. 

Next, spruce up your store! Take down the holiday-specific decor, but leave up some seasonal pieces. Then, tidy up your merchandise, which may have been shifted around due to heavy foot traffic. 

Finally, make sure you’re at the top of your customer service game. Shoppers may be returning items that didn’t fit properly. Make them feel welcomed, and they’ll be more likely to keep shopping at your store.
